Stone Lodge B&B was first established in 2012 by Anne and Brian Cunningham.
It is a beautiful, Neo Gothic stone house built circa 1840 sits on 2 acres of lovely landscaped gardens and patios, with its own orchard, vegetable and berry garden.
Stone Lodge is situated at Balrath Cross located across the road and walking distance to the exclusive wedding venue Ballymagarvey Village.
We are only 14 kms from Navan and Ashbourne as well as 17 kms from Drogheda.
There is a main bus route right outside to Dublin city centre and we are only 30 minutes from Dublin airport.
We enjoy meeting people very much and try to create an atmosphere which our guests find very relaxing and friendly. For guests spending more than one night we offer our family sitting room to them where they can enjoy a wood burning stove and a TV with full Irish and UK channels along with Netflix and Amazon Prime.
From Mondays (excl. Bank Holidays) to Thursdays we can offer guests a fully adapted apartment which does include an ensuite. There is also an EV charger located at our B&B, making it perfect for anyone with an electric car.
We are very proud of the breakfast we offer as that has been enjoyed by many as you can see by our reviews. It is cooked fresh according to the guests instructions and most of our produce is sourced locally from craft butchers, and free range eggs from local farms.
Anne bakes her own breads such as soda bread, sourdough or brown bread every morning. She likes to also offer her guests a nice home baked treat to finish off their breakfast like banana muffins, cinnamon rolls or scones. There is also fruit, fresh berries and fresh orange juice.
We would love to welcome all our future guests and we can guarantee them a friendly and relaxing stay in our beautiful historic home.
We are also in the middle of Meath’s wonderful historic sights. The Hill of Tara, Newgrange Interpretive Centre, Slane Castle and Distillery, The Battle of the Boyne Site as well as many more.
